3 Day Tsavo Safari Package itinerary
Tsavo is the largest national park in Kenya and one of the largest in the world, covering over 21,000 square kilometres of dry savannah, volcanic landscape, riverine forest, and open plains that stretch further than the eye can follow. It is also, outside Kenya, one of the least known of the country’s major parks, which is part of what makes it so rewarding for the traveller who arrives expecting the Masai Mara and finds something entirely different.
The elephants here are red, stained by the volcanic soil they dust themselves with to repel insects and regulate heat. The landscape is defined by the great lava flows of the Chyulu Hills, the underground springs that feed the Mzima Springs oasis in the heart of the dry country, and the Tsavo River cutting its green line through the red earth. The wildlife is different in character from the Mara, wilder and less habituated, encountered on its own terms across a landscape that has not been softened for the tourist vehicle.
This tsavo tour package is based at Ngulia Safari Lodge in Tsavo West National Park, a well-established mid-range lodge positioned in the Ngulia Hills overlooking a floodlit waterhole that draws wildlife through the night. As your dedicated tsavo safari company, Kent Corporate Travels manages every detail of the trip so that your three days in Tsavo are spent entirely on what matters, the game drives, the springs, the lava fields, and the landscape itself.
